The Billington Group – TSC Foods Scunthorpe
The Billington Group is one of the UK’s most established food production companies and has been in operation for over 160 years. This solar PV installation at a facility in Scunthorpe is one of several renewable energy projects forming part of a five year company-wide decarbonisation programme.
DES Energy has installed over 700 photovoltaic (PV) panels which are monitored to ensure optimum performance. The system provides a significant amount of electrical energy which would otherwise be drawn from the Grid.
